BEYOND THE BACKYARD
Investing in a custom paver patio is an investment in your home’s equity and your quality of life. Unlike wood decks that rot or concrete slabs that crack and stain, a Regal Paver patio is built for longevity. We offer a wide range of materials—from classic brick and tumbled stone to modern, large-format porcelain pavers—all of which are professionally sealed to resist the harsh SC sun and salt air. Our goal is to create a space that looks as stunning ten years from now as it does the day we finish the final joint stabilization.

FAQ Section
Most standard patio projects are completed within 3 to 5 days, depending on the size and complexity. Factors like integrated fire pits or outdoor kitchens may extend the timeline, but we always prioritize a clean, efficient workspace to minimize disruption to your home.
While all outdoor surfaces absorb some heat, certain pavers—specifically lighter-colored stones and specialized porcelain—stay significantly cooler than dark concrete or wood decking. We can help you select materials specifically designed for "barefoot comfort" in our hot climate.
Proper grading is the most critical part of our process. We engineer every patio with a subtle slope (1" for every 8') to ensure rainwater moves away from your home’s foundation and into designated drainage areas or permeable joints.
Yes. While we use high-performance polymeric sand to deter growth, weeds can 100% grow through the joints over time if organic material and dirt are allowed to settle on top of the sand. Regular maintenance and keeping the surface clean are essential to preventing seeds from taking root.
Absolutely. Wood decks require constant staining and eventually rot or warp in SC’s humidity. Pavers are virtually maintenance-free, won't rot, and provide a much higher return on investment (ROI) for your property value.
In some cases, yes, using a "thin-set" paver or an overlay system. However, for the best long-term results, we usually recommend removing the old concrete to build a proper, compacted gravel base that won't crack or shift.
Highly recommended. Sealing protects the stone from UV fading, food spills (like BBQ grease or wine), and salt air. It also enhances the natural color of the pavers and helps lock in the joint sand for a more stable structure.
Very little! A simple occasional sweep or rinse with a hose is usually enough. Every 3 to 5 years, we recommend a professional "refresh" including deep cleaning and resealing to keep the space looking brand new.
